Little Switzerland is a great resort if you are just getting into skiing and you live near Milwaukee. There is a large beginner's area with other runs located on the hill. These runs are great since they aren't too long and won't wear out your feet if you are a beginner. There is also some intermediate terrain that are a bit steeper. The advanced and expert terrain category is lacking however. Little Switzerland really only has one true advanced run on their back side fittingly named "Holy Switz". The run is fun, but it can get icy and is very short. In terms of terrain parks, Little Switz has some of the best terrain parks in the midwest for advanced snowboarders, there is a large variety of rails and boxes. Later in the season, Little Switzerland will build some jumps that give decent air for their size. Overall, Little Switzerland is a very good resort for beginner and terrain park riders. However, if you are into more advanced terrain with glades and moguls, you should go to either nearby Cascade or Devil's Head.

Little Switzerland is a great mountain in Slinger Wisconsin. The resort is very good for families and park riders. However, there isn't too much for advanced and expert skiers to do besides the terrain parks.

A great place to ski.
My family had a great time at Swiss Fest and Derby Days this season. Creative events / activities, some culture and heritage, conditions where great, and the staff was very friendly. Look forward to next ski season!
We are so glad Switz is back. We have gone many times over the first season & they have always had great snow conditions. The hill has 17 runs on the front & back side of the hill. We enjoyed the events with the fun races on Derby Days, the alphorns for Swiss Fest & the pond for the Spring Splash. This hill is so easy to get to from Milwaukee. It is our favorite local hill!

I love that Little Switzerland is back open again after a few years. The new owners seem to have done some things really right. The terrain parks look like a lot of fun for the legion of young snowboarders out there. The beginners area is nice and wide with two T-ropes for the tots.
The restaurant serves delicious food and the drinks are excellent. The view of the hill while you're dining is very cool. Unfortunately, I'm a downhill skier and this is still just a 200 foot hill in Wisconsin. sigh. It's fun to take the grandkids here and mess around and teach them some stuff but it's really not worth it outside of that. Don't get me wrong! I love Little Switz and am glad it's back but it's for beginning skiers and daring snowboarders. Runs are just too short and limited for an intermediate to advanced downhill skier, esp. if you've fallen in love with Colorado or even been up to the UP or Lutsen. If that's the case, have some haystack onion rings, a great burger and watch the kids fly around on the hill.
